Look Up! Join us for Holy Week Services
LOOK UP!
In the world’s first week, God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh. The pattern was set. In the world’s greatest week, God redeemed the world in six days. And on the seventh day, the Son of God rested in the tomb, the Sabbath of all Sabbaths.
When you see the suffering of our Savior on your behalf this week, you may be tempted to look down, hanging your head in shame. You may be tempted to look around at everything disappointing in this world and shake your head. But God encourages you to look up. Your redemption is near!
Holy Week is the heart of the Christian year—a sacred journey that leads us from celebration, through reflection and sorrow, and ultimately to the joy of the resurrection. We invite you to walk this holy path with us as we gather in worship, prayer, and community.
Each service offers a unique opportunity to encounter Christ anew and to be drawn deeper into the story of God’s love for the world.
Palm Sunday – The Triumphal Entry
March 29th at 8:00am and 10:30am
Holy Week begins with celebration as we remember Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem. With palm branches in hand, we join the crowds in proclaiming, “Hosanna!” Yet even in our joy, we recognize that this moment points us toward the cross.
This service reminds us that the road to resurrection begins with sacrifice. Come and begin this sacred week with worship that is both triumphant and reflective.
Holy Thursday (Maundy Thursday) – The Last Supper
April 2nd at 2:30pm and 7:00pm
On Holy Thursday, we gather around the table as Jesus did with His disciples. This intimate service recalls the institution of Holy Communion and Jesus’ command to love one another.
Through Scripture, prayer, and the sharing of the Lord’s Supper, we remember Christ’s humility and grace. The service often concludes in quiet solemnity, as the altar is stripped and we prepare for the darkness of Good Friday.
Good Friday – The Passion of Our Lord
April 3rd at 11:00am (Service of the Cross) and 7:00pm (Tenebrae – Service of Darkness)
Good Friday is a day of deep reflection as we remember the suffering and death of Jesus on the cross. In this solemn service, we hear the story of His passion, offer prayers, and reflect on the depth of God’s love poured out for us.
Good Friday is a day of deep reflection as we remember the suffering and death of Jesus on the cross.
At 11:00 AM, we gather for the Service of the Cross, a solemn and contemplative worship experience centered on Christ’s crucifixion. Through Scripture, prayer, and meditation on the cross, we are invited to reflect on the depth of Christ’s sacrifice and love for the world.
At 7:00 PM, we observe a Tenebrae service, an ancient tradition of the Church. As Scripture is read and candles are gradually extinguished, we enter into the growing darkness of Christ’s passion and death. This powerful service invites quiet reflection on the weight of sin and the seeming silence of the tomb.
Though the day is marked by sorrow, we gather in reverent hope, trusting that even in death, God is at work bringing life and redemption.
Though the tone is somber, we gather in hope, trusting that even in death, God is at work bringing life and redemption.
Easter Sunday – The Resurrection of Our Lord
April 5th at 8:00am and 10:30am, with Easter Breakfast at 9:15am
Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! Alleluia!
On Easter morning, we celebrate the victory of life over death and the promise of new beginnings. This joyful service is filled with music, proclamation, and praise as we rejoice in the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Bring your family and friends as we celebrate the good news that transforms our lives and our world.
