Experience 2006 – 2021 Forensics Coach, Substitute Teacher, Resurrection, Aurora, IL 2022 – (Present) Resurrection, Aurora, IL Education 2008 – 2011 Martin Luther College, New Ulm, MN Bio: For those of you who are unfamiliar with Mr. Clark, he attended Martin Luther College in the teacher track from 2008-2011 and majored in 6-12 Secondary Communication Arts and Literature (English). He is no stranger to teaching at Resurrection. He’s taught classes for us previously under other principals. Mr. Clark also has a love and talent for using technology to enhance learning opportunities.

Experience 2020 – (present) Resurrection, Aurora, IL Education 2021 Martin Luther College, New Ulm, MN Bio: Mrs. Fischer grew up in Oconomowoc Wisconsin. She currently lives in North Aurora with her husband. Mrs. Fischer graduated from Martin Luther College in the spring of 2020 with a Bachelors of Science in Education for Elementary Education and Secondary Physics Education. Mrs. Fischer’s favorite activities are making music, baking, crafting, and swimming. Mrs. Fischer is excited to work with children of all ability levels, and help them grow their God given gifts.

Experience 2017-(Present) Resurrection, Aurora, IL 2016-2017 Kaneland High School Education 2016 Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL Bio: Mrs. Latsch is currently the second and third grade teacher at Resurrection Lutheran School. She grew up in Sugar Grove and currently resides in Elburn. She graduated in May 2016 from Northern Illinois University with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. She has been teaching children for the past 12 years in both a daycare and preschool setting. Last year she taught Early Childhood at Kaneland High School. Outside of teaching she loves to make digital scrapbooks, spend time with family and friends, and travel. Miss Johnson is grateful to have the opportunity to help your child grow spiritually, intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically this year!

Bio: Mrs. Behrens is currently serving as the kindergarten and first grade teacher at Resurrection Lutheran School. She received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Martin Luther College in May 2004 as well as a MN teaching license. She was assigned to teach at Lord and Savior in Crystal Lake. While serving at Lord and Savior, Mrs. Behrens helped with an array of extra responsibilities besides teaching, such as Jump Rope/Hoops for heart, book clubs, school music, helping in the office during staff transitions, athletic director, and administrative duties. She taught various classroom setups for kindergarten through second grade until she resigned in 2013 to be a stay-at-home mom. Even after leaving the classroom full-time, she stayed involved in education as a substitute teacher, mentoring beginning teachers, and maintaining her teaching license. She married Michael and they have four children-Lydia, Anna, Rebecca, and Malachi. Mrs. Behrens enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing with movies, playing piano, cross-stitching, traveling, and most of all, God’s Word through Bible studies, teaching, and worship.
